Nomnations for Grand Marshall will be accepted from April 15, 2012 until May 31, 2012.

Parade Applications will be accepted from April 15, 2012 until June 15, 2012.

An open letter to all interested

Dear Sponsor / Donor,

Planning for Pitman’s Independence Day parade, the biggest and best Independence Day parade in South Jersey, is in the works. Our 2012 parade theme, “We the People”, is sure to be a hit. Over the years, many of South Jersey’s parades have been cancelled due to the lack of financial support. The Pitman Parade Committee is determined to make sure the parade will continue. Therefore, we need your financial support to defray the cost of the parade.

Opportunities exist for individuals, businesses and community organizations to sponsor prize categories and bands in the parade. Sponsorships begin as low as $50 for prize sponsorships and as low as $500 for band sponsorships. As a sponsor, your support will be advertised in our “Thank You” ad as well as on our website. Sponsors are also welcome to apply to join us in the parade, displaying your business information to the thousands of spectators along the parade route. Volunteers are also needed to assist with the parade. . We are especially in need of assistance on parade day.
